Lunch: Choice of
- Fish and chips and coleslaw or;
- Stuffed green pepper and mashed potato
Each served with dessert, coffee, and tea. Cost is $17.00 per person and includes tax and tip. Please reserve by Friday, January 12, 2007 by calling Pat Knox at (508) 829.7132.
Kelly Sullivan, Director of the Teen Mom Program at Y.O.U., Inc., will speak to us concerning the program and the agencies goals for young women who need our assistance. A question and answer period will follow the presentation.
Once again our loyal members are to be congratulated on their wonderful response to this years Adopt-A-Child Christmas Giving. Your gifts were beyond description and you should be proud of yourselves and our club. You have made a big difference in the life of a mom and her baby. Also the mittens were divided between Y.O.U., Inc. and a kindergarten class in North Haven Conn. This school is in a low income area in North Haven and the mittens will be kept at the school and "loaned" to the students as needed, then retrurned at the end of the day. Again you have made a difference. Thank You!
Our Christmas program with entertainer Marti Sawyer was most enjoyable and I feel badly for the members who could not make it to the party--but wait! She may entertain again next year, God willing! A number of those present at the party requested a return engagement.
We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year Season and that you remain healthy and happy in 2007.
Next meeting will be on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at The Manor. Remember no school, no meeting.
